Harley, Chief Analytical Branch Health and Safety Laboratory U.S. Atomic Energy Commission New York Operations Office 70 Calumbus Avenue New York 23, New York BEST COPY AVAILABLE Dear John: Thanks for your letter of November 27, 1956, with the attached tables of data on the post Redwing surveys. In studying the tables we notice ths omission of the wet weight data and calculations for Sr?” and calelum for samples 4047-4054, Since we do not have the wet weight of the samples sent you, as I mentioned in the telephone conversation, we have calculated the wet weights from the data we have avallable. The calculation was made by taking the difference in welght of the samples we have from our original dry weight samples to get the dry weight of the samples sent to you and then multiplying this dry weight by the conversion factore to obtain the wet weight of the samples sent to you. is a table showing "Weights of Samples Sent to NYOO Enclosed August 10, 1956." We notice a difference for aample #3815 on the two sheets of x 100 and wonder if a decimal point is out of place. HASL #3815 ° #3815 (1.
