witness a shot in the forthoaning serier of nuclear tests at
the Pacific Preving Ground.
Six Official Chserver trips are scheduled, the first te depart
¥ashington shout April 26th and the others to follaw at intere
vals of about fifteen days. I% is planned that observer parties
will leave Kaghingten aboard e special miseion aireraft about
Six days shead of the scheduled date of tite shot, proceed via
Travis Air Force Jase, California, and dicken Alr force Base,
iateaii, to Eniwetok, resalo in the forward area about four
days, and then return, taking four days for the return trip.
ArYangenents may be nade for you te board the aircraft at
Travie or Hickes instead of Washington if you so degire,
Hecause accommodations at the Proving Ground are Limited, I
would appreciate carly information as to the meabers who can
attend and, if so, the period or periods convenient. Ef your
