Dodd and B, F, Schnap);: Soil samples were collected and analyzed for alpha activity in Les Alamos Canyon, Stream bed samples showed essentially background activity with one exception which was approximately 4 times background. Samples were also taken in Los Alamos Canyon just below Omega Site and analyzed for beta- gemma activity. Slight activity was found just below a septic tank outfall. Specific analysis for Ba and Sr failed to identify it as either of these elements. b.
