Paglia, M.D. Professor Division of Surgical Pathology UCLA Center for the Health Sciences Les Angeles, CA 90024 BEST COPY AVAILABLE Dear Don, Thank you for your 24 June letter and the old letter to Hugh Pratt which is of considerable interest to me. I have decided not to seek the Marshallese position but will give it serious consideration if requested. are no candidates for Dr. Pratt's position. As of the moment there I will not be at the Montreal meetings with the exception of one day when Betty and I will drive up to attend a dinner in the evening for Dr. Bessia. It would be very nice to have you visit us after the Montreal meeting. I shall be in Dallas, TX the week prior to the Montreal meeting at the International Society of Experimental Hematology annual meeting. I do hopa that Emilie will come to Montreal and of course would be a welcome quest at 5 Ivy Lane. There are many attractive features to the Marshallese program, in particular the question of @o-Director with you. IY would like to discuss it more with you but will not actively seek the position. Warmest personal regards, Sincerely yours, E. P. Cronkite, M.D. efh
