His suggested use of the Assembly Hall on Enue is something that we should strongly consider. I have talked with Col. Gomes and Tommy McGraw and they state that this building is well preserved, with a thick concrete slab floor. McGraw states that the radioactivity inside of this building is quite low. All in all I believe that the use of this existing structure should be entirely satisfactory for our purpose, provided of course, that we have the generator and water available. Since the building is quite large the matter of whether this is used in conjunction with the dispensary is of no great importance. From my previous drawings you know about what our space requirements will be. Perhaps even one of the existing rooms would be satisfactory. Can you obtain from Holmes & Narver any existing plans of this building? I do not believe the weight of the lead brick shielding will offer any problem even though some 2 to 3 tons may be concentrated in an area about 6 x 4 feet. If it is considered necessary, the TT might be asked to take us by Bikini on the next survey to evaluate this situation. without this.
