Conerd of BNL called to discuss what he considers to be an urgent probien in respect to the exposed group of Rongelese natives thet he is surveying annually fron the medical point of view. Dr. Conard feels that some sort oi cinimal medical supervision nust be providei for the Ronselese throughout the interim periods between meaical surveys. Wo such provision has heretofore been made. According to Dr. Conard, the mein reason for this need is that many of ‘the exposed indiviauels heve severely dameasea thyroidas and require reguler medication if they are to remein in go00a health.
