If I can get the O.K. of the Trust Territory to allow the Japanese television group to transit Enue, the LCU could go there from Rongelap and the Army plane pick the medical group (minus 3) and the TV group and take them back to Kwajalein. I would have a few hours on Bikini to talk to the people. We had scheduled this plane for Monday, April 5th. If it is not possible to get such a flight on a week day we can alter our schedule for the plane to come in on Sunday, April 4th. Please let me know about this. in it. We will have about 20 boxes to go on the LCU. One conex should suffice? We have been considering bringing our tractor (bulldozer) at Rongelap back to Kwaj. for overhaul. We can also use it at Enue to get our boxes ashore and loaded on the plane. Will there be room on the tank deck for the tractor? If necessary we could probably leave the jeep at Kwaj. But maybe there is enough room for both. Please let me know.
