recommendations you have provided to us in support of DNA cleanup
operations at Enewetak Atoll. Your timely report satisfied a critical
need for additional guidelines on cleanup of transuranium elements in
Enewetak soil. The Group's recommendations have been well accepted.

Enclosed is a copy of a letter received from Vice Admiral R. R. Monroe,
