Body burden and excreta measurements. The body burdens which were measured
directly had a standard g¢gviation of + 30% of the mean value for adults. The
maximum body burden of
Cs was observed to be 3 times the mean value.
Indirect measure of body burden by uringanalyses resulted in greater
variation.
The standard deviation for
Sr was + 60% of the mean value for
adults.
The standard error for the adult mean body burden was 5 times less
than the standard deviation because many adults participated during each
mission.
