BRIEF HISTORY
OF
STATION:
This station has been a primary station in the following surveys:
1947-48;
Holmes & Narver, 1949-50;
JTF-7,
Holmes & Narver 1952 Expansion.
In the Holmes & Narver surveys it was called "Anilyaanii" to designate
the ‘name of the island on which it is located. The station was disturbed
by construction operations in 1951 but was reestablished from its RM's
using the same station marker.
