STATION.
This station was a third order station in the 1949-50 Holmes & Narver Survey.
It was known as 11 plus 50 and Rigili #1. It was destreyed and later replaced
and retriangulated as a second order station in the Holmes & Narver 1952
Control Expansion Survey.
This station was used as a second order triangulatbn
station in the Holmes & Narver 1957 Expansion Survey.

The station mark is a .50
caliber machine gun cartridge set in concrete flush with the ground surface.
A 50 foot steel Bilby towere in good condition is erected over this station.
R.M. #1 is in good condition.

It is a spike embedded in a concrete block
It is not visible from the station due to
the fact that one of the Bilby tower legs is on the line.

"RM 3 - Rigili - H & N ~ 1952." It is set in concrete 6" below the ground
surface. It is 5-1/2 feet from the N.W. corner of a large metal radar
reflector.
