This station was established as a third order triangulation station in the
Atoll Control Net by the Holmes & Narver 1957 Expansion Survey.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
OF STATION:
This station was recovered in good condition.
The station mark is a standard
H & N brass cap stamped "Henry - H & N - 1957."
It is set in concrete 1 ft
below the ground surface. A 50 foot steel bilby tower in good condition
is erected over this station.
P.I.'s #1 & 9 were destroyed during Operation Hardtack.
R.M. #1 & R.M. #2 were set as a part of this recovery.
H & N brass discs stamped "RM 1(2) - H & N - '58."
1 foot below the ground surface.
