Dear Mr. Miller:

By now you have heard of the sad circumstances which prevented completion
of our usual medical survey ia the Marshall Islands this year. It is
difficult for us to understand, as doctors, how politics can be put
above the health of these people.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff,
particularly Mr. Bill Streenan at Las Vegas and Bill Hills, Joe Dryden,
Bill Morrison and others at the Honolulu office. Everyone has been most
helpful during these trying circumstances.
I hope by next year things will have straightened out and we will be able
to carry out our usual survey. With best regards,
Sincerely,

Reh. CrrorKk—
