Located in a fenced, non-secure area west of the trailer park, present Building 3237 (completed 1966) is structurally identical to its count -part at Barbers Point, Building 1734. Access to the building is provided by a 20-it. wide double gate in the northern segment of fence. The steel frame, prefabricated structure has metal siding and roofing and is used as a storage and shipping/receiving center. Itis 40 x 50 x 12-ft. high and has a reinforced concrete floor slab. Screened louvers in the siding and three (3) rotary gravity ventilators on the roof ventilate the structure. A 16 x 13-ft. reinforced concrete ramp on the north side serves as an approach to a pair of center opening sliding doors, each of whichis 6 x l2-ft. Suspended fluorescent fixtures light the interior, and weatherproof fixtures light the exterior doorways. Receptacles of 110 volt capacity are distributed throughout the interior of the building.
