SAMPLE RETURNS
Prior to the overseas hase cf Redwing, a study of the transponation
requirements for dctivery ul radioactive samples to the ‘42 lnburatories wae
subinitted to JTF 7. As a result of this study and subsequent ciscussions,
the following flight schedule for return of st:mples was estavlished:

HK + 24 to 36 hour:
D + 4 to 5 days
In addition to these flights, which were to he made after mos‘ of che
shots, provisions were made for the transport of samyles by fi. st priccity

alvlifted with samples of a subsequent shot, resulting in the use of fewer
