A report of the analyses of the first group of these samples was sent via two separate secret teletypes through Bednarsey, Oaklend Army Air Base to Commander Marris, Bikini CTG 1.2, Badsafe, P.A.C. One teletype was sent en September 13th and the ether on Septonber Srd, 1946. It was not clear just where the second set of samples came from, but thay were forwarded to ne by Dr. Eennsth Sectt at Berkeley. Five eopies of the report of the analyses of the seeond group of samples were made on October 10th, 1946. One was retained for our files and the other four elassified as GECRET were sent through the Area Engineer at Berkeley to Dr. Kenneth Seott. A letber accompanied the four copies instructing Dr. Seott to retain eze for his files, transfer ene threugh the Manhattan Area Enginver to Capt. Waleh, send the third one to Commander Harris and give the fourth eopy to the Area Engineer fer his files. Qe 26 Hevenbder 1946, I received a letter from Lt. George 3B. Daniels, Corps ef Engineers, Intelligence and Seeurity Officer, Nanhuttan Bugineer District, P. OG. Box 869, Berkeley, California, stating phat the four eopies of the data had been turned over to him by Dr. Geott and per authorisation of Cel. ZX. BD.
