PERSONNEL RADIATICN LIMIT ESTABLISHED BY JOINT TASK FORCE
The following information is quoted from JIF Operations Order Number
2-52, Annex P, Appendix 2, Paragraph 1, dated 10 May 1952.
"The total integrated permissible dose for personnel participating in
Operation IVY is 3.0 Roetgens (measured Gama only) Based on a three
month operational period."
The above limit was amended by the following quoted message from JIF
on 10 November 1952.
" /RESTRICTSE-D/ CITE 1142 SUBJECT IS MAXIMUM PERMISSAELE
PERSONNEL RADIATION EXPOSURES ROUTINE OPERATIONS ATCMIC TZSTS. MY
OPERATIONS ORDER 2-52, ANNEX P, AFPENDIX 2, PARAGRAPH 1, CHANGE QUOTE
"3.0 ROENTGENS', UNQUOTE. TO CUOTE '3.9 ROENTGENS', UNQUOTE."
