1. Merchant Ship Pesctor - Dr. Libby reported on the background of White
House decision to make press release and on his discussions of funding alternatives
with Director, PCR. It wes egreed Dr. Libty should inform White House, in response,
to inquiry, that we are proceeding with plans for the project, that AEC will
coordinate it, and that AEC and Meritime Commission will finance it. Before
Joint Committee authorization hearing on Monday, Mr. Tammero is to present funding
recommendations to the Commission,
2. Possible Rentel of Maiaticc Euilding - Dr. Libty ssid Director, BUR,
had esked for dollar justificetion fer this move.
3. Joint Committee Peview of Bilaterals - The Yommission accepted
Mr, Mitchell's suggestions for arrangements for submitting bilaterals to the
Committee.
