Some events have +ffen piace,gall
thers are likely to take Meer.ef
which will necessi aitdlshthe Changes in the scheduling of the
Liktanur If.
1.
The June medical trip is now scheduled to end on June 9 rather
than 13.
2.
Dr. Noshkin, LLL, requests that his June trip be of a 10-day
duration beginning June i4 for the purpose of lagoon sampling
at Bikini and Enewetak instead of open ocean.
He is in the
process of formalizing his request for change.
We ask for any input you may wish to give us on this matter, or on
anything else you wish concerning the ship, its operations or
scheduling.
There has been further informal talk of possible
schedule changes and we must know your firm intent well in advance
in order that U.S. Oceanography can plan maintenance, vacations, etc.
We want at all cost to avoid a situation when the vessel is unused
for a sustained period duc to inadequate notice of proposed change.
The above has been coordinated with Holmes & Narver, which has the
subcontract with U.S. Oceanography Inc., the owner of the Liktanur II.
Sincerely,
Heo
