Uiversity of California are five copies of subject amendment under
Contract W-7h0S-eng-h8 with the Atomic Energy Commission.

‘This
amendment increased the funds obligated for this work by $24,669.76
and will enable eight Cooper personnel to remain at EPG through June 30,
1958, one month longer than originally anticipated.
This amendment
will bring the total obligation under this subcontract to $1,346,158.03
which is well within the limit of the $2,350,000 which you were authorized
to sign under Regents’ action of October 18, 1957.
