Dear John:
The AKC and the National Bureau of Standards have a joint
committea on trying to determine the standard RSE values to he
used for humana for various radiations. The Chairman of this
committea ig Victor Bond. ‘The Comflttee is working on another
book of officlalprules for haelth protection.
They were very
anxious to have me at théir meeting in Late August; however, I
told them that 1 could not go.
Under the circumstances they
would very much Like to have Chuck Sondhaus substitute for me.
Chuck hes been at Bakini and knows quite a bit of the relevant
data. The AEC contract would hawe to pay the travel expenses,
