DESCRIPTION
The existing USAF-DCA HF long haul radio trunk to Hawaii was
rehabilitated in 1965 and a new trunk to McClellan AFB, California was added.
The old system was replaced with a new, more efficient antenna system. An
antenna multigraph system provides pilot frequency operation by simultaneously
utilizing two transmit antennas for four transmitters. The low power transmitter equipment was replaced with new higher power transmitters and new
test equipment.
