The rotating parts of the antennas are balanced, and are mounted on 24-ft. high steel platforms. The tracking rate on any axis is 20 degrees per second, The Supporting structure of the Teltrac is designed so that deflection or rotation from a 30 knot wind will cause an error of less than 0.1 degree in tracking.
