Collins SUBJECT: UWAFL - 195) MARSHALL ISLAND SURVEY DATE: August 1, 1956 Results of Analyses of Samples sent to HASL Seven (7) oven-dried samples of fish liver end muscle were received at HASL on October 26, 1955. They were sent by Dr. Donaldson's group and at the time, no other pertinent information was available. Each sample was wet-ashed and analyzed for total activity and Sr-90. In two cases where there was enough material, a Cs~137 analysis was performed. Dr. Donaldson, in his letter of April 5, 1956, offered discriptive information as to the date and sampling location. However, no wet-weight data were given. It was not until Mr. Whitney visited the AFL that it was confirmed that no wet-weights were available.
