FURXOSE
The purpose ef this memcrandun is to establish an or-
derly and erficient precedure to be folicsed by using egencies or activities in the return ef property to the Depct Supply officer, TG 7.2.

Preperty en memorardua receipt from the Depot Supply officer
will be turned in to the appropriete Technicel Service Branch accempaniud
by five copies ef DA 4G0 Form 447 (Turn-In Slip).
Separate Turn-In Slips
will be prepared fer each Technical Service, i. e., Ordnance, ‘juerteruaster.

Supplies and equipment will be segregated and clossified cs
to unserviccability cr serviceability by personz-el of the using agency er
activity prior te turn-in to the apprepriate Technical Service Branch,
Derot Supply. Basis fer turn-in will be indicated en the Turn-In Slip in
the "Remarks" Column; thet is, cither, "F/T* (Fair, Yeer and Tear); *R/S*
(Repert of Survey); er "S/C* (Statement ef Cherges) whichever is epplicable to san unserviceeble item, and "SER* (Ssrviceable) if a serviceceble
item. In those instances where articles requiring survey section ere turned
in, the Investigating Officer will place & certificate on 411 copies of the
turn-in slip ststing that the erticles requiring survey oction are rot
required for further exemination,
The veucher nunbder of tho Report of
Survey will be shown en the face of the Turn-In Slip.

Reports of Survey will be secured before interested personrel depart fron
