The Atomic EnergyCommissionhas requestedthe support of the ~ed
Services in the conduct of an Atomic Proof Test in the Weetern Pacific
duringthe early summerof 1948. ne Joint Chiefsof Staffhave directed
that the nrmed Services support the AEO operation and have designated
Lieut. General J. E. Hull, USA, as Task Force Commander, with Major Gener&l 1?.E. Xepner, USAF, and Rear Admiral W. S. Parsons, ~M,
as Deputy
Commanders.
It is the desIre of the Chief of
