For purposes of the above calculation, the exposure rate on the beach was
assumed constant at 10 uR/hr, on the water at 5 yR/hr, and for the village
the modified (mean/2) exposure rate was used.

THERMOLUMINESCENT DOSIMETER PROGRAM
As a check on the validity of the gamma exposure rates as measured by
survey meters, thermoluminescent dosimeters vere placed at six locations
on Eneu and twelve locations on Bikini.

at each location and left for approximately thirty days.
