During the report period, there was a continuing build-up of materiel
and supplies.
Shipnents of the items of engineer, quarterm@ster, ordnance, signal,
transportation, and 1T/0&E requirements requisitioned earlier in the year,
in @ncicipation of the build-up, arrived at the anticipated rate.
Total shipments of cargo by air and water are, shown in charts in Sec»
tion ¥.
These charts reflect the steady build-up over the report period.
