Several laboratory studies were made on the
subjects. Vhe results of these examinations were
mostly within normal range. However, some
of them indicated slight abnormalities.

Cases K-5, 6, 8 and 9 revealed high values (7~10).
Icteric index:
Cases K-8, ll, 13 and 16 show-

Chromosome Studies
Chromosome studies succeeded on
[3 of the
exposed persons. The observation of chromosomes was made by cultures of peripheral leucocytes prepared in accordance with the method by
Moorhead, et al. with a slight modification.
Samples were obtained 72 hours after initiation
of culture, and 200 metaphases were examined
for all
the
cases
except one
case. The control observations were based on i1
normal males, aged 28-53.
