We recommended that the Trust Territory Government build on municipal
land, in Utirik after talking with the people, a dispensary and other
dual purpose buildings such as classrooms, which will enable the medical
team to house all of its equipment and people, and also in which to
make examinations.
The cost should be paid by the AEC.
Nothing has been done on this and the Committee will follow up.

We recommended that the old tower on Utirik, because it is very old,
be taken down by the Trust Territory if the people want this done.
The
Committee was afraid that in a strong wind, the tower might fall down
and hurt someone.
Nothing has been done.
If the people want this done, they should tell the district government
at Majuro.

We recommended that the AEC, and Dr. Conard, and the Trust Territory
and the Joint Committee all work together to make an educational program
in Marshallese which will help the people understand what had happened
to them.
We understand that this has been done and that Brookhaven is paying the
cost of printing this program in a book.

We recommended that the Trust Territory will provide certain benefits
to the people of Rongelap and Utirik if the Congress of Micronesia passes

a law for this purposes.
