Synopsis
Planning and the initial implementation of plans by the Staff of Joint
Task Force Seven are included in this section. Initial reconnaissance of the
test site by General Hull and an account of the coordination with concerned
Services are a part of the section. The period covered here was one of procurement of personnel and supplies, hampered by security restrictions. The
initial construction force was prepared for shipment and an operating pian
in the form of a Field Order was developed.
