BIBLIOGRAPHICAL NOTE This report is based on the historical files maintained in the mice of the Adjutant General, Joint Task Force Seven, the files maintained in the Division of Military Application of the Atomic Energy Commission, and upon the special reports of the General and Special Staff Sections and the Task Groups of Joint Task Force Seven. With the exception of the files of the Atomic Energy Commission and the Joint Chiefs of Staff papers, series 1795, the above data has been deposited with the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project, where it is available to interested and authorized persons. The reports of the General and Special Staff Sections and Task Groups of Joint Task Force Seven are contained in a separate volume as Annexes b this report. One of the most valuable files tn the preparation of this report was the Task Force’s Daily Record which contains the account of all major conferences conducted by the Commander and Deputy Commanders as well as the Staff and Task Group Commanders.
