This station was a third order ‘station in the 1949-50 Holmes & Narver Survey. was known as 11 + 50 and Rigili #l. It was destroyed and later replaced and re- triangulated as a second order station as a part of the 1952 Holmes & Narver Control Expansion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF STATION. This station was recovered in good condition. The station mark is a .50 caliber \ machine gun cartridge set in concrete flush with the ground surface, RM #1 is in good condition. It is a spike embedded in a concrete block, 6" below the ground surface, RM #2 is in good condition. It is a spike embedded in a concrete block 3” below the ground surface. * RM #3 was set as a part of the recovery survey. It is a brass disc 2" in dia- t meter stamped "RM #3-Rigili-H&N 1952", It is set in concrete 6" below the ground
