IXtscussion.
This. bomb represents the first effort on the part of UCRL to
carry through weapon design to the stockpile. Althongh this is a conventional
activity, it is new to the Radiation Laboratory. ‘<m this connection, the
Sandia Corporation has been very generous and extended substantial and ex-—
tremely welcome .help to the Laboratory. This development carries number one
priorityin the large weapons effort of the Laboratory. ©
