The afternoon session was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by the
Chairman.
All Committee members (except Dr. Libby), the Acting Secretary,
and Mr, Tomei were present.
Dr, Smyth and Dr. T, H. Johnson were also

Dr. Johnson announced the resignation of Mr. David W. Lillie as the

tioned briefly his recruitment plans, and asked for suggestions from the
Committee.
Dr, Fisk suggested that Dr. Bruce Old and Dr. John Howe
would be good sources of information, and Dr. Wigner suggested that Dr.
Frank Foote also be asked for recommendations.
