Tests
for Operating ~penses of Atomic Weapons
Th attached assumptions are approved as a basis for the
division of funding between the Services and the Task Force/AFSWP
with
the understanding that this list is not all inclwive but
is an outline of the distinction between normal operating expenses
which will be financed by the Services and extra expenses which
are to be financed out of funds made available to the Task Force
COrmnandaror the Chief, AFSWP.
These assumptions supersede s~lar
assumptions covered by
a memorandum Of 9 March 1953, which is hereby rescinded.
It is requested that ●ddressees give these assumptions
sufficientlywide circulation via appropriate internal channels
so that all persomel
within departints
and agencies who may
deal with atotic test matters or the support thereof will be
equally informed.
