RADTOLOGICAL SAFETY IN "FALL-CUT" PERIOD

GBNERAL:
There exists the possibility of radiological "fall-out" on
ENEWETOK ISLAND during the cnerational period,
In order to insure that
this command takes the maximum advantage of protective meagures, the
radiological defense organization will function as delineated herein,
2, MISSION:
The following missions, assigned to CTG 7.2 by CJTF SEVEN
Operation Order No 3-53 apply:
a
Perform all ground monitoring services associated with
EITNETOK ISLAND except in those areas or activities assigned to other
task groups,

b,
Provide own radiac equipment and protective clothing,
c.
Previde om repair, spare parts and calibration facilities
d.
Provide contaminated clothing laundry facilities for TG 7.4.

MISSIONS FOR SUBORDINATES UNITS AND ACTIVITIES:
a. The Task Group Radsafe Officer will maintain a continuous
reading monitoring instrument at S3 Section, Tasx Group 7.2. This
equipment will show radiation level at Headquarters, Task Group 7.2 and
well be used to make decisions as to tne radiolegical safety of the
Task Groupe
b. Unit Commanders, usi:.c wher own radsafe sections’ and such
"backup" monitors as their unit nar cave available (gee letter, this

keep in operation one Radiac AN/PIF “7 A. This instrunent will re~
