UNDEHGROUND SHELTER - Building#334
Reinforced concrete vault construction with 10" thick roof and walls and 12" thick
deck set entirely below grade.
Inside dimensions 10'-0" x 10'-0" x 7'~+) 1/8" high
furnishing 100 square feet floor area and 712.5 cubic feet content. Enclosed
accesa ramp has 5" thick concrete deck, 2" x 10" frame covered inside with 1/2"
plywood, and outside with 2" x 6" T & G diagonal sheathing covered with 2 ply
15# felt mopped on. Equipped with electrical fixtures and underground connections
to Buildings #335 and #336, all inside 100'-O" x 4'-O" chain link fance and
barved wire enclosure.
GUARD TOWERS - Buildings #335 and #336
Wood frame, shed roof construction with 90# mineral surface composition roofing
and plate glass windows on four sides. Interior dimensions 6'-O" x 6'-0" x 7'-6".
Metal greting deck 6'-O" above grade and accessible by wood ladder extends three
feet beyond structure forming a balustraded balcony on all four sides. Structure
is supported by four 6" x 6" posts, cross-braced and anchored to reinforced
concrete piers. Electrical facilities are provided.
