SALT WATER SYSTEM
Consists mainly of 4" and 6" transite presaure pipe, 2'-6" underground, valves,
fittings and services to the extent of 22,900 lineal feet of mains, 22 fire
hydrants and 66 service connections,

ELEVATED WATER TOWER - Bldg. #121
This structure consists of one salt water storage tank (1,000 barrel capacity),
ons fresh water storage tank (500 barrel capacity), both same dianeter, mounted
on a structural steel and wood platform, size 27'-0" x 52'~0" with 3'-6" handrail
all around, elevated 50 feet above grade by ten 12" x 12" spliced wood columns,
vertically and horisontally criss cross braced, four benta high by four bents
wide, with 3/" diemeter tie rods, concrete foundation piers with anchor bolts
supporting the ten columns, fixed wood ladders reach from grade to intermediate
and top platforms. The structure, including tanks with steel ladders, is painted
and complete with pipe, fittings and aircraft warning light.
Cost of thie item is included in the Fresh and Salt Water Systens.
WATER DISTILLATION EQUIPMENT
kquipment includes:
ight 600 G.P.H. distillation units, piping, pumps, tanks,
and chemical feeder, all located in Building #56, and eight distillation units in
Building #S6a.
