MESS HALL BOILER HOUSE
This is a one story, double roofed, prefabricated aluminum building, erected on a
concrete slab size 25'-2" x 25'-10 1/2", complete with electrical wiring and
fixtures, plumbing and piping and telephone installation.
The building is I.D.
2h'-O" wide x 2h'-8 1/2" long x 10'-O" mean height with a cubic content of
5,930 cubic feet and » total floor area of 651 square feet.
This building contains the following equipment:
One 50 HP oil fired boiler
mounted on an 18" thick concrete foundation, one 1,200 gallon hot water tank,
piping for hot and cold water, steam, condensate and fuel 011, with all the
necessary appurtenances auch as traps, pressure regulating stations, temperature
controls, and a boiler feed water heater (Deserator) mounted outside on a
reinforced concrete foundation tower with a 5'-0" octagonal base 2'-O" thick
and a 26" square tower 7'-6" bigh. A 1,200 galion fuel oil tank sounted qutside
on conarete piers is piped to mpply fuel oil to the boiler. The building has
in addition to the regular entrance door a sliding door for a 6'-11 1/2" wide
wall opening.
This Boiler House serves hot water and steam to the adjacent
Meee Halli, Bakery, Snack Bar, and Barber Shop.
