8. Proof-Test Firing Sequence
General McCormack advised that on about the first of December,
11-26-A47the recommendations from Los Alamos Laboratory on this matter
would be received. He recommended that no decisions be made until
this report has been received, Admiral Parsons suggested that Los
Alamos simply by failing to make certain preparations may place an
effective limitation on the number of possible choices, General McCormack stated that this danger had been called to their attention.
General Groves requested that a member of the Commission staff
brief the MLC on this matter at its meeting next Tuesday.
