Miller, Manager L Nevada Operations Office MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING = CLEANUP OF BIKINI ATOLL On April 29, 1969, a memorandum of understanding was signed at Bikini Atoll by representatives of the three organi-~ sations participating in the cleanup program. This memorandum gave details of which structures were to be removed and which were to be left in place. An amendment to the original memorandum wag signed at the atoll on June 25, 1969. The amendment only alightly changes the first document. These are the guidelines being followed at the working level on the atoll.
