FOREWORD
This volume contains daily reports written in the field
by scientists from the University of Washington Laboratory
of Radiation Biology during the 1964 expedition to Eniwetok,
Bikini and Rongelap Atolls.
The unedited reports contain
information submitted each day by members of the party to
Dr.
Lauren R. Donaldson,
Laboratory Director.
Interpretations
or comments are Dr. Donaldson's.
The purpose of the daily reports was to create an on-
the~spot record of observations and impressions.
