In addition to the analysis of samples collected for the HASL
program, the Analytical Branch is responsible for the transmittal of
samples to contract laboratories.

These samples are part of the overall

strontium prosram of the Division of Biology and Medicine.

This activity,

including preliminary treatment of certain samples, calculations and
‘administration require the equivalent of one full-time man.

Direct

analyses snd administration require two staff members for the gummed
film program and eight for the strontium program.
