a.
Obtain radiological information about the Atoll by:
1.
Conducting a survey to gather radiological data,
2.
Analyzing and assessing this radiological data,
3.
Preparing interim and final reports on these activities
as promptly as technically feasible.
b.
Provide radiological criteria for any cleanup.
c.
Provide results of an aerial radiological survey.
d.
Provide Rad-Safe support to the engineering survey as follows:
1.
Personnel dosimetry.
2.
Escorts as required.
3.
Identification of radiological hazards,
4.
Radiological advice.
5.
Collection and analysis of at least one set of soil profile
samples on contaminated islands,
e.
Provide direction for employment of those DoD assets, such as
helicopters and watercraft, dedicated to the radiological survey,
Questions concerning reimbursement for specific services will be resolved
on a case by case basis.
