Aithourh many hivh readings are near the air-ground interface, concentraiiens at depths up to 140 cm are significant. Except for four locations, clustered near the "right-side" of the field, profiles 1744 29.2102 28.0X103 decrease toe less than 40 pCi/¢ within about the top 35 cm. Samples will be taken to a depth of 40 cm at 10 em increments and at 20 m intervals (864 samples). A the hiph-vatue area (140 m X 200 my, samples will be taken to additional depths of 100 cm (880 additional samples). Samples were from widely separated locations, each with adjacent analyses thit did not exceed 100 . 40 pCi/g, which sugsests that no extended hot spots 4.0X10 are present. The one hich reading, from the middle, northern side of the runway, vill be investigated.
