AERIAL PHOTO AND RADIOLOGICAL
SURVEY PROGRAM
A.
PHOTO MISSION
Photographic coverage of all islands of interest in the Northprn
Marshalls is required for three purposes:
(1) detailed color
flight maps of each island at specific scales for use by the radiation
Survey team,
(2) specific data analysis to provide a varicty Df
information about the isl.nds, and (3) underlays for the raapsion
data.
Coverage will be abtained using present photographic equipmer
eperated for the DOE by EG&.

This equipment is calibrated
a
adjusted for optimum performance to obtain imagery suitable
or
analysis purposes as well as the production of photographic
rints.
The photo mission will be flown, using an ECe12) provided by
the
Pacific Missile Test Center based out of Kwajelein.
Some fim
precessing will be accomplished while at Kwajelcin utilizing
photo lab opcrated by KENTRON.
