Transmitted with this letter are nine (9) copies each of the "Long-Range
Improvement Plan, FY 1959 through FY 1962" in two volumes.
AEC letter ET: PWS-2179, dated February 20, 1956, requested that Holmes &
Narver, Inc., prepare a long-range plan for base facilities at the Eniwetok
Proving Ground. The plan was requested to be presented in two phases
covering a pericd of six years from the date of the letter.
The first phase, covering FY 1957 to FY 1958, was published June 1, 1956.
The second phase is presented in the two volumes of this present transmittal.
All recommendations of the 1956 presentation which have not yet been constructed have teen re-evaluated and are incorporated in this second phase
report.
