along with the Department of Defense have unaccountably
failed to respond to a request for certain information and materials
in a letter dated April 5,
1972, which was routed through the Office
of the High Commissioner.
‘whether this lack of response is due to
bureaucratic lethargy or reluctance on the part of the agencies named
is not known,
In either case,
the Committee wishes to note for the
record its extreme displeasure at this apparent lack of assistance
and expresses its hopes that this situation will be rectified in the
future,

Conard of the Brookhaven National Laboratory of Long
