PRIVACYACT MATERIAL REMOVED Chapter 2 PERSONNEL and EQUIPMENT on ENIWETAK ISLAND, I-2 MARCH 1954 2.1 LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF ENIWETAK ISLAND Rongerik Atoll is situated 135 nautical miles east of Bikini Atoll. Eniwetak Island is located along the southeastern perimeter of Rongerik Atoil. Eniwetak Island is crescent-shaped. It is 1% miles long and approximately '/, mile wide at the center (Figure 2.1).
